I believe we all have a story to tell about our own individual lives. I think our journeys are a part of who we are and contribute to our individualism. The question, do we stop and take the time to listen to each other's story? What lessons can we learn about each others stories?
I believe we are all a book, but do we look at the cover or do you want to read what's inside? Do we judge the book by the cover? Lets see do I want to get to know this person? She is fat, uses a walker, or he is in torn jeans, or uses oxygen. Dose it matter what you see on the outside or what is really on the inside cover?
I have been through many storms which made me very compassionate and wise. I will start my book in the middle, in 2000, when I became seriously ill. I ended up in ICU for over a month and during that month I had a 3 minute code (death). Now some people have no lasting affects from an experience like that, but God had other plans for me. I had to work from being totally bed bound, to wheelchair chair and to walker. I envision my glass over flowing, because I get a second chance at life! I will be sharing a lot about my life journey and other things that will bring joy, interest or educate for my peeps.
I have a soft and tender heart. At times I can be very strong willed; especially when my heart is involved or I believe in the cause. I am serene and kind even in difficult situations. I always give others the benefit of the doubt. Which at times can cause me great heart breaks. Which leaves me a journey through divorce after 21 years.
So I sit and watch the butterflies by day and every night pray the Lord will bring a sweet, loving, and understanding man into my life to give me a Butterfly Kiss good night! And He did! So be-careful what you pray for!!! God Loves Us ALL!
I love the fact that you compare our lifes and also each person to a book. I often thought about it like that too. So often we do miss out, because of the fact that we do jugde the books by its cover and there for miss out on the blessing that awaits us if we only had opened the book and took the time and made the investment to find out about the person.
